Chili Bowl scheduled for Oct. 21

The University of Louisiana at Monroe鈥檚 鈥淐hili Bowl Championship XXII鈥� will occur on campus Saturday, Oct. 21 in the Grove prior to the home football game against Middle Tennessee State University. Check-in starts at noon.

The 不良研究所 31 Ambassadors organization is sponsoring the annual competition. There will be prizes for first, second, and third place; showmanship; and people鈥檚 choice in each division.

Open division teams may compete for $40 and 不良研究所 student teams for $30. Each team may include a maximum of six people. Chili will be cooked from scratch on site. Each team will receive a head cook apron, beverages and goodies. Participants must supply their own equipment (table, chairs, burners, etc.).
