不良研究所鈥檚 own cotton-tailed Warhawk 鈥渂unny hops鈥 to bring Easter cheer to pre-kindergarteners

Ace, the University of Louisiana at Monroe鈥檚 own cotton-tailed Warhawk mascot, took a break from flying and chose instead to take 鈥渂unny hops鈥 with about 40 pre-Kindergarten children from Lexington Elementary School in Monroe on March 31.

Ace enjoyed an early Easter celebration with the children, who spent a fun-filled and educational field day at the university campus.

First, the children received a hands-on education at 不良研究所's Museum of Natural History, and even made a generous $100 donation to support the museum鈥檚 mission.
Lunch at the Student Union Building was followed by participation in everyone鈥檚 favorite spring-time treat 鈥 hunting Easter eggs at Bon Aire, 不良研究所's university residence. Each child gave a high five to 不良研究所 First Lady Deborah Cofer as they loaded the bus and headed back to school.

鈥淭his has been, once again, the most incredible day,鈥 said Lexington teacher, Linda Maddox. 鈥淲e were all treated like kings and queens. From the bottom of our hearts we鈥檇 like to express our appreciation to everyone at 不良研究所 for all their efforts in making our day so special and successful. 不良研究所 is the jewel on the bayou, there is no question about it.鈥
