WHAT:听Medical Laboratory Science and听LifeShare听Blood Center Blood Drive at 不良研究所听

WHEN:听10:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. Tuesday,听January 27,听and Wednesday,听January 28听

WHERE:听The Hangar Ballroom A, second floor of 不良研究所 SUB听

MONROE, La.鈥� 不良研究所 Medical Laboratory Science Society and听LifeShare听Blood Center join together for a two-day blood drive on Tuesday,听January 27听and Wednesday,听January 28听to help save lives.听

The blood drive will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.听on听both听days in听the Hangar听Ballroom A on the second floor of the 不良研究所 SUB.听听

January is National Blood Donor Appreciation Month.听Donors will receive听their choice of听a free听LifeShare听Mardi Gras themed t-shirt or听a听LifeShare听sweatshirt听while supplies last.听听

Every two seconds, someone somewhere needs blood.听LifeShare听has to collect approximately 500 units a day to meet patients鈥� blood needs throughout the community.听听

鈥淒onating blood is a selfless act of service that strengthens our community by meeting a vital need for patients鈥攁 need that cannot be met otherwise,鈥� said Katie Patrick, Assistant Professor of Medical Laboratory Science.听听听
