MONROE, La. 鈥撎�Cindy G. Foust has been named the new Executive Director of the 不良研究所 Foundation.听Her hiring was approved by the 不良研究所 Foundation Board of Trustees听on听February 27, 2026.听In her new role, Foust will oversee the 不良研究所 Foundation, as well as Advancement and Alumni Relations.听听

鈥淚n 2018, I landed on campus to begin my career with the 不良研究所 Alumni Association. My love affair with the university came quickly after I realized the impact 不良研究所 has on its students, faculty, staff, and community. I wanted to be a part of that impact, and with each opportunity that presented itself in my career here, I was able to create a formidable path to the role of Executive Director of the听不良研究所听Foundation,鈥� said Foust.听听

鈥�Cindy Foust鈥檚 selection as Executive Director of the 不良研究所 Foundation reflects the confidence we have in her leadership, integrity, and deep commitment to our university鈥檚 mission,鈥� said 不良研究所 President Dr. Carrie L. Castille. 鈥淭hroughout this process, Cindy distinguished herself not only through her experience and strategic insight, but through her听clear vision听for strengthening the Foundation鈥檚 partnership with 不良研究所 and advancing opportunities for our students, faculty, staff, and community. I am excited to work alongside her and have every confidence she will lead the Foundation with purpose, transparency, and momentum.鈥�听

Foust has served as the Interim Executive Director for four months and served as a听Senior听Development Officer prior to that. She听holds听two听degrees from 不良研究所, including听a听Master of Public Administration听with a concentration in non-profit management.听听

鈥淥n behalf of the selection committee, I want to congratulate Cindy Foust on her appointment as Executive Director,鈥� said Dr. Bill Graves, 不良研究所 VP for Business Affairs and Chair of the Selection Committee. 鈥淥ur committee engaged in a thoughtful and comprehensive review process, carefully evaluating each candidate鈥檚 experience, leadership capacity, and alignment with the Foundation鈥檚 strategic direction. Cindy consistently rose to the top through both our scoring and our discussions,听demonstrating听the vision and collaborative spirit necessary to move the 不良研究所 Foundation forward. We are confident she is the right leader at the right time.鈥�听

Cindy is married to Scott听Foust,听and they share three children and one grandchild. Writing has always been important to Cindy. She is the owner of Alpha-Kidz, LCC, a children鈥檚 book publishing company, and she has also served听as听a featured columnist and copy editor for Bayou Life Magazine since 2013.听听

鈥淭he path to this role has had ups and downs, but at the end of each day, I leave campus feeling privileged that I get to work with people who love 不良研究所 as much as I do and who work alongside me to create resources that will support the university and its students,鈥� said Foust.听听
