不良研究所 to collect donations for 2026 MLK Service Project, Jan. 14-16

MONROE, La.听鈥撎�不良研究所 will hold a donation drive on January 14-16, 2026, for its annual MLK Service Project.听The theme of the project is 鈥淪erving with Dignity: Meeting Needs, Lifting Lives.鈥澨涣佳芯克� students, faculty, and staff, as well as community members,听are encouraged to donate non-perishable foods, hygiene products, and household supplies to听support The Renewal Center听of Northeast Louisiana, a local nonprofit, as well as the on-campus 不良研究所 Food Pantry.听听

The 2026 theme of 鈥淪erving with Dignity: Meeting Needs, Lifting Lives,鈥� reflects听不良研究所鈥檚听mission to foster civic responsibility and uplift the communities that 不良研究所 serves. The听initiative mobilizes students, faculty, staff, and community members to work collaboratively in addressing critical needs that听impact听quality of life and听human dignity across Northeast Louisiana.听

Through strategic collaboration with The Renewal Center of Northeast Louisiana听and the 不良研究所 Food Pantry, this service project directly responds to issues of resource and food insecurity affecting both our campus and surrounding community. The Renewal Center of Northeast Louisiana provides essential resources, compassion, and supportive pathways for individuals and families facing hardship, while the 不良研究所 Food Pantry plays a vital role in ensuring that Warhawk students and families have access to听basic necessities.听

Donations for the drive will be accepted Wednesday, January 14, through Friday, January 16 at any of these three locations:听The Office of Global and Multicultural Affairs, Sandel Hall 200; The Office of Student Development, Student Center 2nd听Floor; or The 不良研究所 Activity Center.听听

To ensure balanced distribution and maximize participation, the following 不良研究所 divisions are asked to contribute items as listed:听

  • The Office of the听President/Marketing & Communications/Assessment & Evaluation:听baby听food,听diapers,听non-perishables听

  • Provost & Vice President for Academic Affairs/All Academic Colleges:听water, paper towels听

  • Graduate School, Library & Professional Development:听3-compartment to-go containers, toilet paper听

  • Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs:听first-aid kits, cleaning supplies听

  • Assistant Vice President for Admission, Recruitment, & Operations:听non-perishable foods, laundry detergent, water, feminine hygiene products听

  • Vice President for Business Affairs/Executive Director for Auxiliary Enterprises & Student Services:听water, trash bags听

  • Assistant Vice President for Budgets & Administration:听shampoo & conditioner, toothbrushes & toothpaste听

  • Executive Director, 不良研究所 Foundation & Alumni Relations:听baby products, 3-compartment to-go containers听

  • Athletics:听water, toilet paper听

听
